Privacy Policy

1. Overview

HIT-REG Engine ("we", "us") is built by a solo developer (@FadedInvaded) and we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We collect only what's necessary to run the service and never sell your data.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use HIT-REG Engine:

Discord Account Info: Your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email (via Discord OAuth). This is used to authenticate you, assign your Discord role, and manage your subscription.
Hardware ID (HWID): A unique identifier generated from your PC hardware. This is used to lock your license to your machine and prevent unauthorized sharing.
Payment Info: Processed entirely through our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your card number, billing address, or any raw payment details on our servers.
Subscription Status: Your active plan, expiry date, and activation fee status. Used to verify your access when you launch the app.
Basic Usage Logs: App launch timestamps and version checks. Used to detect issues and verify license validity. No gameplay data is collected.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your gameplay data, game files, screen content, voice or chat data, browsing history, or any personally identifiable information beyond what Discord provides during login. HIT-REG Engine does not read or transmit the game settings it writes — it applies them locally and that's it.

4. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you via Discord OAuth and manage your subscription.
To verify your license when the app starts up.
To assign and revoke your Discord role based on subscription status.
To send renewal reminders (via Discord DM or email if provided).
To respond to support requests you initiate on Discord.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics platforms, or any third-party marketing.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with:

Discord: OAuth is handled through Discord's API. Their privacy policy applies to data on their platform.
Payment Processor (e.g., Stripe): Handles payment securely. We receive only confirmation of payment success and subscription status.
Hosting Provider: Our server host may have access to server logs as part of normal infrastructure operation.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as you have an active or previously active subscription. If you request account deletion, we will remove your Discord ID, HWID, and subscription records from our database within 30 days. Payment records may be retained longer as required by law.

7. Security

Your HWID and subscription data are stored on a secured server with access restricted to the developer. We use HTTPS for all communications between the app and our server. Discord OAuth tokens are never stored in plain text.

8. Children's Privacy

HIT-REG Engine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has used our service, contact us on Discord and we will remove their data promptly.

9. Your Rights

You may request to:

View the data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service grows. Changes will be announced in our Discord server and updated on this page. Continued use of HIT-REG Engine after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
